Basic Information
Evony requires you to have an item called speaker in your inventory if you want to speak in world chat (but not alliance chat or whispering).
Uses
You need to have speakers for the following:
- Speaking in World Chat. One speaker is consumed per message that you send. Once you run out of speaker, you cannot send messages anymore until you get new ones.
- Sending group messages in the alliance. It costs 2 speakers to send a group message to all players in the alliance. If you do not have enough you cannot send your message.
Acquirement
Speakers can be bought in single or bulk packages. The bulk packages include speaker (10) and speaker (100), which give you 10 or 100 speakers, respectively. Speakers can also be acquired from farming NPCs. They can also be won from the Wheel of Fortune, as well as the bulk packages.
