Ok heres my addition to the medal farming....
First use whatever guide that shows where to get the medals. Plenty of those around. This info is based on multiple hits on valleys using WARRIORS ONLY because of cost and time to replenish because you WILL take losses.
- make sure you have a valley slot available in your city. multiple hits wont work if you don't. it is important to CONQUER the valley for this method to work.
- go to your feasting hall and look at the heroes you will be sending. Make sure to undo the MOUNT because it may cause your heroes to run at different speeds if they are different levels.
- pick a valley in relation to the medal you are searching for based on whatever guide you are using, I use the Valley attack guide http://evony.medievalgamer.com/evonyvalley.html it shows how many warriors to send to each valley lvl. MAKE SURE the valley is close enough to your city so that when your city is centered on your screen, the valley is clickable. Reason being, when you conquer the valley it resets the screen.
- click valley, select attack. This brings up the troop screen. input proper amount of warriors to send and it should defaultly pick a hero for you. watch the timer in the lower right hand corner of the screen. As soon as you click the ok button to send troops, count to 7 seconds and click the ok button again. repeat this process until all of your heroes are used.
- you are on the map screen and are watching your troops marching time in upper left hand corner. as soon as the first wave hits, click on the valley, select enter, and then select abandon, then it pops up a box that says valley abandoned, click ok. this takes me about 5-6 seconds. A second later the next wave hits. repeat this process over and over until all waves are complete. TIMING is important with this because if a wave hits while you are still in control of the valley, the wave will just be sent back to your city. Practice makes perfect.attack,conquer,abandon..attack,conquer,abandon...etc...
- another thing to keep in mind is your heroes ENERGY. Running this process over and over consumes energy and I dont know exactly what happens to your hero if he runs out of it but im sure its not good.
I hope this is of use. I am merely a newby and hope I haven't left anything out.
I was farming for rose medals yesterday most of the day. I sent 4 waves. I ended up with 3 total attacking a lvl 3 valley. I consumed about 60-70 energy on each hero and happened to have some items to replenish it. I noticed the regeneration of energy on the heros takes forever.
